In this video, I show you how to use an iPhone shortcut to automatically set your phone brightness low during bedtime hours (as set in settings > focus > sleep). This is helpful so your display brightness isn’t too bright when viewing during these hours.

Purpose: to ensure screen brightness is low during bedtime hours
Steps:
- Set sleep focus hours in phone settings
- Open the Shortcuts app
- Create a personal automation:
- Select the “sleep” automation
- Choose when to start
- Use “run immediately”
- Select the “sleep” automation
- Next
- Select “new blank automation”
- Choose controls > set brightness
- Set brightness to desired percentage
