Download free practice files, templates, quick reference guides, and other helpful materials that support the tutorials on this site. Many resources are editable, so you can follow along or customize them for your own work.
Some resources are created specifically to accompany a tutorial, while others are standalone references you can keep handy as you learn. Everything is free to use for personal and educational purposes.
Be sure to check back periodically—I add new resources whenever a tutorial would benefit from an accompanying download or reference guide.
How to Use These Resources
Tutorials may include one or more companion resources, such as practice workbooks, sample documents, and printable reference guides, designed to help you follow along and reinforce what you’ve learned.
Resources are shared as view-only documents in Google Drive so they’re easy to access from any device.
To use them, choose whichever option works best for you:
- Copy and paste the content into your own spreadsheet if you only need specific formulas or examples.
- Download the entire file by selecting File → Download → and select the file type so you can open and work on it in your own copy.
- Create a copy in your own Google Drive by selecting File → Make a copy if you’d like to edit the file online.
Many resources include sample data, step-by-step notes, and formula explanations so you can follow along with the accompanying tutorial or experiment with your own data.
