Welcome! I’m glad you’re here.
Simple Software Tutorials was created with one goal in mind: to help people learn software quickly, simply, and without unnecessary frustration.
Like many people, I’ve spent plenty of time searching online for answers to what should have been simple questions, only to find videos that wandered off-topic or documentation that explained every feature except the one I actually needed. I wanted a resource that respected people’s time and got straight to the solution.
That’s the idea behind this site.
My Philosophy: Learn what you need to know quickly and simply.
My Approach
Every tutorial starts with a real problem someone might encounter while using software in everyday life.
Rather than simply explaining features, I focus on practical tasks – things like building an order form in Excel, automating repetitive work, formatting documents, creating presentations, or customizing your devices to work the way you want.
I assume no prior knowledge, start from the beginning, and explain each step using clear, everyday language.
Whether you’re learning Microsoft Office, Google tools, iPhone shortcuts, or another piece of software, my goal is the same:
Help you understand what you need to do and why it works.
More Than Just Videos
While this project began as a YouTube channel, it has grown into a complete learning resource.
Many tutorials now include:
- Step-by-step written instructions
- Screenshots and visual guides
- Formula explanations
- Downloadable practice files and templates
- Quick reference guides
- Additional tips and best practices
Some people learn best by watching a demonstration. Others prefer reading instructions or experimenting with a sample file. By combining these resources, you can choose the learning style that works best for you.
Designed Around Real-World Problems
Many of the tutorials on this site were inspired by actual workplace challenges, viewer questions, and everyday tasks that can be made easier with the right approach.
Instead of teaching software feature by feature, I focus on practical solutions you can immediately apply to your own work.
Whether you’re creating spreadsheets, managing data, writing documents, building presentations, or automating repetitive tasks, the goal is always the same:
Reduce the time spent searching for answers so you can get back to what you’re trying to accomplish.
Keep Learning
New tutorials and resources are added regularly as I continue exploring new software, answering common questions, and finding practical ways to solve everyday technology problems.
I hope these tutorials save you time, make learning a little less frustrating, and help you feel more confident using the software you rely on every day.
Thanks for visiting – and happy learning!
